The Random Wrestling Review and its sister shows bring you an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour. The main show focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. RWR Now focusses on events currently taking place in wrestling. The Game is a quiz series featuring regular guests on the panel battling out to show their supremacy over one another. BracketMania sees the crew whittle 16 down to 1 in pursuit of finding the best of any given category and there a number of bonus and special episodes about a plethora of other things. We have covered topics and shows dating from 1984 through to the present day from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Tinky, Old Man, Tom, Stephen, Matt, Alex and other guests as they fumble their way through wrestling’s rich past, present and even future. This week we take a look back at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, an important night in the history of WWE's development brand, representing as it did, a first foray into large markets and sold out crowds. It also played host to a massive double main event as Finn Balor defended the NXT Title against Kevin Owens, and Bayley and Sasha Banks tore the roof off with their classic bout over the Women's Title. Underneath, Samoa Joe took on Baron Corbin, Jushin 'Thunder' Liger made a very special one-off appearance and Apollo Crews made his NXT debut.
