The Random Wrestling Review and its sister shows bring you an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour. The main show focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. RWR Now focusses on events currently taking place in wrestling. The Game is a quiz series featuring regular guests on the panel battling out to show their supremacy over one another. BracketMania sees the crew whittle 16 down to 1 in pursuit of finding the best of any given category and there a number of bonus and special episodes about a plethora of other things. We have covered topics and shows dating from 1984 through to the present day from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Tinky, Old Man, Tom, Stephen, Matt, Alex and other guests as they fumble their way through wrestling’s rich past, present and even future. Coming out of Wrestlemania 14, WWE were on a hot streak with the super over, and massively popular Steve Austin leading the charge as the company begun to chase down, and overtake WCW, in the Monday night wars. At In Your House 22: Over The Edge, Austin's feud with Vince McMahon was in full flow, and the WWE's Chairman had lined up Dude Love as the chosen one to unseat 'Stone Cold' as WWE Champion. In order to ensure victory for Love, McMahon had booked himself as special guest referee, and his cronies Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco as the special guest ring announcer and timekeeper. On the undercard, The Rock would defend the Intercontinental Title opposite Faarooq, D-Generation X and The Nation would battle one another in a 6-Man Tag match, and Kane took on Vader in a mask vs. mask confrontation.
