The Random Wrestling Review and its sister shows bring you an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour. The main show focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. RWR Now focusses on events currently taking place in wrestling. The Game is a quiz series featuring regular guests on the panel battling out to show their supremacy over one another. BracketMania sees the crew whittle 16 down to 1 in pursuit of finding the best of any given category and there a number of bonus and special episodes about a plethora of other things. We have covered topics and shows dating from 1984 through to the present day from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Tinky, Old Man, Tom, Stephen, Matt, Alex and other guests as they fumble their way through wrestling’s rich past, present and even future. At the height of the Monday Night War, WWE went into their October pay-per-view with a vacant WWE Title. To fill that vacancy, Vince McMahon had booked a match between Undertaker and Kane with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin as the special guest referee with the stipulation that if Austin didn't crown one of the Brothers of Destruction the new Champion, he'd be fired from the company. Also on the show, Ken Shamrock would defend the Intercontinental Title against Mankind and The Rock was facing up to former Nation of Domination stablemate, Mark Henry. This episode also features the first matches for both D-Lo Brown and Val Venis to be featured on the pod, so as you might imagine, our hosts are very happy indeed!
