The Random Wrestling Review is an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour which focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. The podcast is currently trawling through the history of Wrestlemania, covering each event one-by-one, taking in the good, the bad, the ugly and the nonsense. Previously, we featured shows stretching from 1984 through to 2021 from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Ben, Old Man, Tom, Stephen and Alex as they seek out the perfect wrestling show. Listeners beware, this show is not suitable for young ears!

In 1993, WWE decided to make their almost annual, King of the Ring tournament, the centre piece of a new Pay-Per-View event. The tournament would play host to one of the greatest nights in the career of Bret Hart as he faced Razor Ramon, Mr Perfect and Bam Bam Bigelow over the course of the night to take the crown and prove himself, by far and away, the best wrestler in the WWF. On the same evening, Hulk Hogan would make his last pay-per-view appearance for the company for 9 years, when he faced Yokozuna in a match for the WWF Title.
The Random Wrestling Review is this week brought to you by Old Man, Matt and Tinky.
