WWE Wrestlemania 37- Night 1

1 Year, 1 Month and 1 Day after their last event in front of a crowd, WWE presented Night 1 of Wrestlemania 37 with fans in attendance once more. The first night of the event was headlined by the Raw Women's Title match between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. Also on the card was the WWE Title match where Bobby Lashley defended the belt against Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins took on Cesaro and Bad Bunny made his in-ring debut alongside Damien Priest against the team of The Miz and John Morrison.

RWR Now: The Quick Review of 2023

On this New Year's Eve episode of RWR Now, we take a very quick look back at 2023 through the prism of a number of news stories that impacted the industry. The WWE merger with UFC parent-company, Zuffa, removal of Vince McMahon and the booking direction of Triple H all get a mention. From the AEW side they presented the biggest non-WWE show in history at Wembley in the summer but seem beset by problems including injuries, creative issues and TV deals potentially up for grabs- can Will Ospreay come in and save the day? It seems 2024 is going to be a lot of fun as we find out the answers.

WWE Wrestlemania 36- Night 2

Night 2 of Wrestlemania 36 saw WWE explore new frontiers- and not just because for the first time ever they were presenting a 2nd night of action for their annual spectacular. Chief among these was the innovative Firefly Funhouse Match between John Cena and Bray Wyatt- our hosts give their feelings on this, as well as Randy Orton and Edge's epic Last Man Standing bout, Drew McIntyre's crowning as WWE Champion, the Otis and Mandy Rose love story and much more...

The Game: Royal Rumble Participants

The Game round robin returns this week as Tom takes on Stephen in another major challenge as they both rack their brains in an effort to name Royal Rumble participants. Prior to this matchup, Tom had won his first contest against Matt, and was looking to inflict Stephen's 2nd defeat on him following his loss to Old Man last time out.

WWE Wrestlemania 36- Night 1

In early 2020 the Covid-19 Pandemic hit the world and all live events and sport was cancelled- with one exception- Wrestlemania DID happen, as WWE took advantage of their Performance Center to host the event in front of no crowd and, for the first time ever, played out the event over 2 nights which has been the norm ever since. This is our review of Night 1 as the Wrestlemania series enters its final phase- in the main event, Undertaker and AJ Styles would do battle in the unique Boneyard Match, Braun Strowman challenged Bill Goldberg for the Universal Title and Seth Rollins fought Kevin Owens.

This time on RWR now, our hosts each make 5 picks for talent they would move from WWE to AEW and 5 picks for talent they would send the other way. Also, with CM Punk returning to wrestling again last weekend at the Survivor Series, we give our views on whether it will work, and why we are excited for it.

WWE Wrestlemania 35

WWE made history at Wrestlemania 35 as Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey became the first women to headline the Showcase of the Immortals. They did so at the end of a mammoth, 5 hour+ show, the last of the single night Wrestlemanias (at least at time of release). On the undercard, Brock Lesnar defended is Universal Title against Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston challenged Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title, Roman Reigns made his return to a WWE ring following his bout with cancer, Shane McMahon and The Miz went to battle in a personal war, and Triple H fought returning Hollywood star, Batista, in a match with is career on the line.

BracketMania: Intercontinental Champions

The makers of The Random Wrestling Review bring you an entirely new show called 'BracketMania'- the concept: a single elimination tournament where our hosts whittle down the competitors to crown the best ever of the category in question. On the debut episode we name the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, from a field of 16 worthy competitors, but who will win? Bret Hart? Randy Savage? Razor Ramon? Gunther? Honky Tonk Man? All will be revealed...

WWE Wrestlemania 34

The 34th edition of Wrestlemania saw the WWE back in New Orleans, site of Daniel Bryan's victory and the end of The Undertaker's undefeated streak 4 years earlier. This time around, Brock Lesnar was defending the Universal Title against Roman Reigns, Triple H & his wife, Stephane McMahon faced the challenge of Kurt Angle and the debuting Ronda Rousey, John Cena had issued a challenge to The Undertaker to face him on the show, and AJ Styles defended the WWE Title against Royal Rumble winner, Shinsuke Nakamura.

The Game: World Tag Team Champions (Vol. 2)

For the latest episode of The Game our competitors (Old Man and Stephen Coriander) face the same challenge as Tom and Matt did 2 weeks ago. This is Old Man's first matchup in the round robin, while Stephen was successful in his first match against Matt, so it's all to play for as they attempt to name as many wrestlers to hold the World Tag Team Title that existed in WWE between 1971 and 2010.
