It's time for Stephen Coriander to talk about one of his favourites on the 2nd episode of The Heroes. His pick is 'Macho Man' Randy Savage and here we go over the peak of his career from Wrestlemania 3, the Mega Powers, Wrestlemania 5, his heel turn, the Dusty Rhodes feud, the career match with The Ultimate Warrior and his big 1992, back as a babyface and Champion again.

NXT Arrival

This week on the Random Wrestling Review we take a look back at a show that was both the first ever NXT Special, and the first live event to take place on the brand new WWE Network. This was a show that was largely put on to test the capability of the Network to broadcast live events as the company prepared for Wrestlemania 30 and the potential for technical challenges during that show. In doing so, WWE put on a card that featured NXT Champion, Bo Dallas defending his title against Adrian Neville, and Sami Zayn taking on Cesaro in the latest match in their series.

RWR Now: Fantasy Booking Wrestlemania 42

In what has become an annual tradition, the RWR crew come up with their preferred card at Wrestlemania 42. How will they accommodate The Rock, Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, Seth Rollins, Iyo Sky, Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton and all the rest as they plot out their chosen shows and explain some of the thinking and stories behind them.

WWE Evolution 2018

In 2018 WWE took the step to put on an all female pay-per-view for the first time to recognise the significant gains that the women roster had made over the previous few years. Of course this came with a significant amount of self congratulatory behaviour from the company themselves, but would that overshadow the action in the ring? That action would include a Last Woman Standing match between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, and a main event where Nikki Bella challenged Ronda Rousey.

The Game: Champions of NXT

The undefeated, and so far, unstoppable, 'Relentless' Gavin Duenas defends his RWR Game Title for the 4th time in today's episode against 'Rockstar' Alex Kirkman. Over 1 year ago, Alex lost the title to Gavin on a night which kickstarted Gavin's tremendous run, now having seen his fellow RWR regulars be defeated by the Champion, Alex gets his long awaited rematch- but can he bring the belt back home? The test for our competitors today is Champions of NXT...

ROH The Era of Honor Begins

For the first time ever on the Random Wrestling Review, we are covering a show by Ring of Honor- and seeing as this series is themed around significant events through time, it felt only right to look back at their debut, The Era of Honor Begins. Headlined by a 3 way contest pitting Low Ki against Christopher Daniels against American Dragon, Bryan Danielson, the show is a fascinating window into the primordial days of one of the most influential and important independent wrestling promotions ever.

Reassessing The WWE Hall of Fame (Part 4)

The RWR crew continue to tear through the WWE Hall of Fame, rooting out those who we deem to be underserving of their place. This time around we start to look at the 2004 induction class- the first of the modern era- how many of the group will retain their place?

WWE SummerSlam 2002

SummerSlam 2002 sees WWE slightly after the Attitude Era but not quite yet Ruthless Aggression and that's not the only thing that sees the company in transition. After 4 years out of action, Shawn Michaels returned to the ring against Triple H in a non-sanctioned match while in the main event, The Rock was back off to Hollywood but on the way out of the door, was putting over 'The Next Big Thing' Brock Lesnar. All that and an opener for the ages between Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio.

For the latest episode of RWR Now, we are conducting a special draft where each of hosts get to make 10 choices of talents they would use when starting up a new mainstream wrestling company. They can pick anybody in the current wrestling world, from WWE, AEW, TNA anywhere in Japan, Britain or the US indies, and they can be wrestlers, managers, bookers, valets, commentators or referees.

AEW All In London 2023

No matter what happens to AEW in the future, the company will always be able to proud about the number of tickets they sold for their All In event in 2023, at Wembley Stadium. Could they also be just as proud of the show they put on for the London faithful on that night-in this week's episode we give our thoughts about the card they offered up and the quality it provided. The main event of course was the match between friends, MJF and Adam Cole for the AEW World Heavyweight Title, meanwhile on the undercard, Will Ospreay battled Chris Jericho and CM Punk faced Samoa Joe in what would turn out to be Punk's last match for the company.
