RWR Now: Elimination Chamber 2026 Reflections

Just over a week ago, WWE presented the 2026 edition of Elimination Chamber including 2 Chamber matches, a World Heavyweight Title match between CM Punk and Finn Balor, and the surprise debut of Danhausen. WWE No Way Out 2004

No Way Out 2004 was the night that Eddie Guerrero became WWE Champion defeating Brock Lesnar in a near 30-minute encounter, it was also the night that confirmed Kurt Angle's place in the title match against him at WrestleMania 20, and set the table for Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg's bizarre contest at the same event. All In (2018)

When Dave Meltzer commented that there was no chance an independent wrestling show could draw 10,000 people, he probably couldn't have anticipated that not only would Cody Rhodes bet him that they could, but that in attempting to do so, Cody and his pals would kick off a series of events that would lead to the creation of All Elite Wrestling. That was the story behind All In, a show that included contributions from Ring of Honor, CMLL, New Japan and the NWA, and featured most of the best non-WWE signed wrestlers in the world...

RWR Now: Royal Rumble 2026 Reflections

Last weekend WWE presented the Royal Rumble with Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan taking the victories in the respective Rumble matches, Drew McIntyre decisively defending the WWE Title against Sami Zayn and AJ Styles being forced to retire having lost to Gunther. We broadly discuss the main things coming out of the show and the decision of Roman Reigns on Raw to pick CM Punk to face at this coming year's WrestleMania.

WWE Royal Rumble 1988

1988 was the year that WWE first unveiled to the world its Royal Rumble concept (actually it was 1987, but more on that in the episode)- a 30-man (okay, in this case it was actually 20) battle royal style contest with a twist- 2 wrestlers would start in the ring and then every 2 minutes (or 90 seconds, or even 60 seconds some years) a new wrestler would enter until all participants had joined the match. Eliminations would come when a person was thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor until there was just one man (or woman, as would later be introduced) left who would go on to headline (or just get put in one of many important matches) at WrestleMania (actually, this wasn't introduced until 1993). A show of many contradictions, all brought to you expertly by the RWR crew.

We continue to trawl through every inductee in the WWE's Hall of Fame and determine whether they deserve to keep their place or whether they should be dunked out. This time around our panel discuss the case for Sgt Slaughter, 'Superstar' Billy Graham, Tito Santana, Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan, Hulk Hogan, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper and Bob Orton Jr.

ECW Guilty As Charged 2001

We've already covered WCW's last ever pay-per-view, so it felt only fair that we did the same for ECW and their Guilty As Charged 2001 event. A night that played host to a ECW World Title Ladder Match between Steve Corino, Justin Credible and The Sandman, an 'I Quit' match pitting Tommy Dreamer against CW Anderson and 2 impromptu bouts that closed the show in customary ECW style.

WCW Bash at the Beach 1994

In mid-1994, Hulk Hogan, the 5-time WWF Champion, and babyface centrepiece of Vince McMahon's juggernaut for the previous 10 years, jumped ship to its main competitor, WCW. Having attracted The Hulkster to the company, WCW's Senior Vice President, Eric Bischoff, wasted no time in booking a match that the WWF had decided not to deliver a couple of years earlier, Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair. The match, for the WCW World Title, also featured Shaquille O'Neal to hand the title to the victor, Mr T in the corner of Hogan, and a bunch of stars in the crowd. Also on the show, 'Stunning' Steve Austin defended the WCW United States Title against Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat, and Lord Steven Regal took on Johnny B Badd for the Television Title.
