The Random Wrestling Review and its sister shows bring you an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour. The main show focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. RWR Now focusses on events currently taking place in wrestling. The Game is a quiz series featuring regular guests on the panel battling out to show their supremacy over one another. BracketMania sees the crew whittle 16 down to 1 in pursuit of finding the best of any given category and there a number of bonus and special episodes about a plethora of other things. We have covered topics and shows dating from 1984 through to the present day from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Tinky, Old Man, Tom, Stephen, Matt, Alex and other guests as they fumble their way through wrestling’s rich past, present and even future. Listeners beware! This show is not suitable for young ears!

With both 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and The Undertaker being out of action, WWE was in a difficult position going into Wrestlemania 16- Mick Foley's planned retirement had to be delayed, The Rock was cast into the lead babyface position and the McMahon family became a bigger part of the story than ever as the two members of The Rock N Sock Connection were joined by Triple H and The Big Show in a 4-way match that had a McMahon in every corner for the main event. Underneath, The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian revolutionised the ladder match in an historic fight over the WWE Tag Titles.

RWR Now: Should Cody Rhodes Have Won At Wrestlemania?
Wednesday Apr 05, 2023
Wednesday Apr 05, 2023
Just 6 weeks ago we asked whether Sami Zayn should have defeated Roman Reigns in his big match at Elimination Chamber and here we are again- another major show, another victory for The Tribal Chief- but should Cody have taken the win instead? And, what was behind the decision to have Roman go over? Was this Triple H's plan all along, or did the merger between WWE and UFC, that was announced the day after 'Mania this year, play a part? We discuss all of this on this bonus episode of the pod...

The Random Wrestling Review reaches the 15th edition of Wrestlemania on its voyage through all of the Wrestlemanias. This one occurred deep into the Attitude Era and presented the culmination of the legendary feud between Steve Austin and Vince McMahon, as Austin challenged McMahon's hand picked Corporate Champion, The Rock. Underneath, this show saw a Triple H double turn of sorts, during his match with Kane and his DX stablemate's contest for the European Title against Shane McMahon, the ceremonial hanging of Big Bossman, and the end of Bart Gunn's WWE career in the infamous Brawl For All.

Sunday Mar 26, 2023
Following a tweet by Stephen Corriander (@ProWMoments) recently, where he declared Kenny Omega's superiority in-ring to Shawn Michaels, which received an amazing amount of backlash, we thought we'd revisit the debate! Along the way we'll discuss how you even go about judging something like this, whether 'the best ever' is a thing possible to comprehend, and what factors would go in to judging such a question...

Sunday Mar 05, 2023
With WWE deep into their losing streak in the Monday Night wars against WCW Monday Nitro, the company arrived at Wrestlemania- a night plunged into chaos by Shawn Michaels' announcement in February that he was unable to compete due to a knee injury and a lost smile. As a consequence, WWE shuffled the deck and presented a card which would see Bret Hart and Steve Austin continue their rivalry in the famous submission match- long considered one of the greatest matches in Wrestlemania history- as well as Undertaker challenging for Sid's WWE Title, and The Nation of Domination battling Ahmed Johnson and the Legion of Doom in a frenetic Chicago Street Fight.
