The Random Wrestling Review is an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour which focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. The podcast is currently trawling through the history of Wrestlemania, covering each event one-by-one, taking in the good, the bad, the ugly and the nonsense. Previously, we featured shows stretching from 1984 through to 2021 from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Ben, Old Man, Tom, Stephen and Alex as they seek out the perfect wrestling show. Listeners beware, this show is not suitable for young ears!

This week on The Random Wrestling Review we return to the Attitude Era for a show that sold itself on the premise that it would be the 'end of an era' due to the stipulation of the main event between Undertaker and Steve Austin. According to that stipulation, if Austin successfully defended his WWE Title, Vince McMahon would be gone from WWE forever, while if Undertaker won, Austin would never receive another title shot. Underneath, The Rock and Triple H squared off to be named number 1 contender to the title, X-Pac and Road Dogg took on Chyna and Billy Gunn where the winners would get the naming rights to the D-Generation X brand, and Kane fought The Big Show.
The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Tom, Matt and Tinky.
