Underneath, Undertaker and Kane had their first ever match against one another after months of build, the Intercontinental Champion, The Rock, defended his title against Ken Shamrock, and the tag titles were on the line as Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie challenged The New Age Outlaws.

With WWE deep into their losing streak in the Monday Night wars against WCW Monday Nitro, the company arrived at Wrestlemania- a night plunged into chaos by Shawn Michaels' announcement in February that he was unable to compete due to a knee injury and a lost smile. As a consequence, WWE shuffled the deck and presented a card which would see Bret Hart and Steve Austin continue their rivalry in the famous submission match- long considered one of the greatest matches in Wrestlemania history- as well as Undertaker challenging for Sid's WWE Title, and The Nation of Domination battling Ahmed Johnson and the Legion of Doom in a frenetic Chicago Street Fight.

This past Sunday, WWE presented the Elimination Chamber premium live event, a show that saw Roman Reigns defend the WWE title against Sami Zayn, in front of Zayn's hometown crowd in Montreal. While many expected Reigns to retain his title, the scene certainly seemed set for a once in a generation moment to have the challenger go over, and end Reigns' 900+ day title reign, but it wasn't to be. On this bonus episode, we discuss whether that was the right call by WWE, what Zayn's role may now be at Wrestlemania, what might happen between Zayn and the various members of the bloodline going forward, and much more.

On the night the boyhood dream came true, the WWE presented a show with no celebrities and the fewest matches in the event's history. On the card underneath the battle between the Hitman and the Heartbreak Kid, Diesel faced the Undertaker, Roddy Piper battled Goldust in the Hollywood Backlot Brawl and the Ultimate Warrior returned!

Our Wrestlemania series rolls on with Wrestlemania XI, the night where WWE welcomed NFL star, Lawrence Taylor to the fold for a match against Bam Bam Bigelow. LT wasn't the only mainstream star on the show however, as Pamela Anderson was also lined up for the big event, along with a number of other celebrities as the company seemed to put more focus on the contingent of 'famous people' than the actual card. Among the rest of the matches, Diesel defended the WWE Title against former best friend, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart battled Bob Backlund in a rematch from Survivor Series 1994, and Undertaker continued his war with the Million Dollar Corporation by facing King Kong Bundy.

This is the episode, originally released last year, where we reviewed Wrestlemania X, reposted now as part of our Wrestlemania series. The 10th edition of the Grandaddy of 'em all saw 2 title matches set to take place with Lex Luger facing WWF Champion Yokozuna first, and then the winner of that match facing Bret Hart. Meanwhile Bret would also have to face his own brother Owen, in a grudges match to open the show, and Shawn Michaels would battle Razor Ramon in a legendary ladder match over the WWF Intercontinental Title.

It's time for the biggest toga party in the world as WWE presented the first themed Wrestlemania by turning Las Vegas' Ceasars Palace into a Roman coliseum. In amongst all the revelry there was a card of wrestling action to put on that would be headlined by Bret Hart's defence of the WWE title against the massive Yokozuna- by the end of the night however, neither man would be standing tall, as the returning Hulk Hogan made his mark. Earlier in the night, Hogan teamed with long-time friend, Brutus Beefcake, to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Titles against Money Inc, Shawn Michaels defended the Intercontinental Title against Tatanka, and The Undertaker battled Giant Gonzalez.
